We are all things recovery the labels are lifted. Recovery coaches, often themselves in recovery, work with clients to establish and achieve goals related to their recovery journey. These goals can vary widely, from maintaining abstinence to rebuilding relationships, finding employment, pursuing education, and enhancing overall well-being.
Recovery coaches typically provide non-clinical, peer-based support, offering encouragement, guidance, and accountability. They may draw on their own experiences of recovery to empathize with clients and offer insights into overcoming challenges. While recovery coaches are not therapists or counselors, they can complement professional treatment by providing practical assistance and ongoing support in navigating the challenges of life.
